General supervision of the subproject, work coordination with Karelian, Russian and foreign organizations,

General supervision and coordination of work of the section "Information support and GIS - model forest".
The subjects of scientifical and practical seminars and personnel retraining courses will be connected with the problems forestry, forest science and education are confronted with.
The leading professors of Petrozavodsk State University, reseachers of forestry and forest industry institutes, specialists from the State Forest Committee, ministries and departments of Karelia as well as professors from the University of Joensuu and specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Ministery of Environment and enterprises of Finland, from different international organizations, such as United Nations (UN), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), European Forest Institute (EFI), World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) will be attracted to deliver lectures and practical lessons.
High standards of teaching will be achieved by practical training and wide variety of high-grade courses, first of all by courses of modern computer technologies, by work, on graduation projects, educational excursions and tours, by conferences, organized together with the State Forest Committee, the project body and partners organizations.
