To create the system of ecological forest evaluation for the North-West Russia(Karelia) is of great importance. Research of such kind has not been yet undertaken in Russia. As for the world practice, such investigations are still at their initial stage. In this connection the research results can improve technologies for creating ecological forest certification for boreal forests and developing the regional forest certification system.
