Objectives

The subproject is aimed at developing the system of ecological forest certification and to test it in the test area "Matrosy". The subproject tasks are:

to define the ecological value of forests;
to evaluate the sustainable use of forests;
to define forest health and viability;
to define the forest concervancy;
to define social,economic and cultural values;
to test standards to be used in forest certification.
